Participating in YADAPP and implementing a STAN Plan may require fundraising efforts if your organization or school doesn’t have YADAPP included in the budget for the year. Here are a few fundraising ideas to assist your Team with funding. Don’t be afraid to get creative with your fundraising ideas!
Donations
Have members of your YADAPP Team write personal letters asking for donations from the school PTA and Boosters, local businesses, and civic and professional organizations.
GoFundMe
Create a GoFundMe page to solicit online for donations. This is an opportunity to engage people on social media and then later engage with them when the team rolls out the STAN Plan.
Raffle
Ask local businesses and companies to donate items to raffle off popular items including restaurant and local shop gift cards, movie tickets, movie night baskets, etc.
Dog Wash
Host a dog wash to raise funds. Consider accepting donations or charging a specific ticket price. You could add dog walking or pet sitting as an additional service.
Car Wash
Host a car wash to raise funds. Consider accepting donations or charging a specific ticket price. Make the most of your location: choose a spot where you will get a lot of walk-up traffic.
Spirit Night
Partner with a local restaurant to host a Spirit Night. Many restaurants will donate a percentage of that night’s earnings. Chick-fil-A, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Sweet Frog are popular options.
