YADAPP LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

  • YADAPP is an annual summer leadership conference empowering teens to keep their schools and communities alcohol and drug free.
  • YADAPP is youth-led. Students with common interests and ideals meet, connect and bond in a week full of fun activities, workshops and empowering speeches.
  • YADAPP is attended each summer by approximately 600 high school students and adults from across Virginia.
  • YADAPP is held each year at Longwood University.
  • YADAPP has impacted the lives of more than 10,000 students throughout Virginia since it began in 1984. More than 440 different high schools and community organizations have participated in this unique program.
  • YADAPP is team-based, formed through high schools or community organizations.

Participation Guidelines

High school or community-basedl teams of four with at least one adult sponsor are invited to participate in YADAPP's summer conference. Rising high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors, and community coalitions are all welcome.
